Membership standards and eligibility

G18 YEC admits active founders, owners and next-generation enterprise leaders whose identity, authority and company information can be verified.

Eligibility

Who can apply

Applicants must be 18 to 45 at submission, lead an active registered enterprise and hold ownership or final operating responsibility. The enterprise must normally have traded for at least 12 months and meet at least one operating-scale test.

  • US$100,000 or more in annual revenue;
  • US$250,000 or more in external equity funding;
  • five or more full-time employees; or
  • independently verifiable commercial intellectual property, licensing or sustained market traction.

Applicants must also establish a substantive connection to one of the 18 constituencies through nationality, residence, company registration or material operating responsibility.

Fees are stated in US dollars and billed annually after approval. Travel, accommodation, trade missions, event registration and third-party professional services are charged separately where applicable.

Continuing obligations of members

  • Keep identity, role and company information accurate.
  • Protect confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • Declare relevant conflicts before introductions or Council decisions.
  • Represent membership accurately and use the Council's identity only as authorised.
  • Use Council services for lawful, substantiated commercial purposes.
  • Observe renewal, conduct and payment requirements.

What does G18 mean?

G18 is the abbreviation of Global 18. The number 18 refers to 15 countries and three regional organisations: the European Union, African Union and ASEAN. G18 YEC uses this geographic framework for membership affiliation and cross-border representation.

Who makes an admission decision?

Applications are assessed under the published membership criteria by authorised reviewers. The admission decision is independent of fee payment.

Does annual membership include introductions?

Each plan includes a stated number of introduction requests. Every request is reviewed for purpose, relevance, availability and consent.

Can a company hold more than one seat?

Company and Enterprise plans provide multiple verified seats. Every seat holder must satisfy the personal eligibility and conduct requirements.
